Mark Birnage

Mark Birnage joined Pels Rijcken as an attorney in 1993 and has been a partner since 2002. Mark specialises in the tendering and contracting of large projects. He has extensive experience in integrated construction contracts, DBFM(O) contracts, concessions and other innovative contract forms. He also supervised the formation of many public-public cooperation agreements (covenants). At Pels Rijcken, Mark heads the Construction and Procurement Law Department.

Mark studied Dutch Law at Leiden University. He also studied Corporate and Commercial Law at Queen Mary & Westfield College, University of London. Mark is a regular speaker and lecturer. He is a native English speaker.
