All practice area listings were achieved in the two highest possible positions, the so-called Band 1 and Band 2 rankings. The Arbitration practice increased to a Band 2 listing compared to last year, while Litigation maintains its strong Band 1 position. Pels Rijcken is also delighted with a Band 2 listing in the new category International & Cross-Border Disputes.
For the individual listings, Pels Rijcken received seven rankings – one more than last year.
Martijn Scheltema retains his Global Market Leader (Band 1) position for Business & Human Rights Law. Willem Heemskerk maintains his Band 1 ranking for Litigation and is also individually recognized with a Band 3 listing in the Arbitration category. Wemmeke Wisman (Litigation) and Sikke Kingma (Intellectual Property: General – Mostly Trade Mark/Copyright) also retain their rankings. Hans van Wijk retains his title of Foreign Expert for Litigation: Dutch Caribbean.
Our Litigation practice is particularly well represented this year, with Peter van Kippersluis being a newcomer in the Chambers and Partners Global Guide, earning a Band 5 recognition.
