Stijn Visch has been a lawyer since 2017. He litigates and advises on various administrative law issues. Stijn specializes in the application of the ‘Algemene wet bestuursrecht’ and related legal subjects. His practice focuses on subsidy law, administrative organizational law, and government liability.
He represents (bodies of) the State of the Netherlands and local authorities in legal proceedings, both before administrative and civil courts.
Stijn is a regular co-author of the chronicle ‘Subsidies en bestuursrechtelijke geldschulden’ in the Dutch Journal of Administrative Law (NTB) and frequently teaches in his field. He graduated with honors from the postgraduate specialization program (Grotius) in General Administrative Law.
Stijn studied at the University of Groningen. During his studies he completed internships, including one in Washington DC. Stijn was a lawyer at AKD until 2020.
