Sara van Winzum joined Pels Rijcken's Space and Environment department in 2019. Sara practises environmental law in the broadest sense and specialises in nature conservation law. In her day-to-day practice, Sara advises on and litigates a wide range of issues relating to site protection and species protection. Nitrogen-related issues form an important part of her practice.
In 2025, Sara successfully completed the Grotius specialisation course in Environmental Law. She is also a member of the editorial board of the Journal of Nature Conservation Law (NBR).
