Sandra van Heukelom-Verhage has been Managing Partner of Pels Rijcken since April 2021. She is also a partner in the Administrative Law and Innovation, Privacy and Technology sections. She is known for her clear, conceptual vision in implementing new, legal developments within (government) organizations.
Sandra studied civil law and constitutional and administrative law at Leiden University (1995-2000). In addition to her chairmanship of Pels Rijcken, she holds various additional positions, including board member of the Kirchheiner Foundation, member of the Supervisory Board of Stichting Achmea Rechtsbijstand and chair of the Strategic Advisory Council ICT of TNO. Sandra regularly speaks at (international) conferences. Finally, she participates in various women's networks.
