Gertjan Harryvan is a lawyer since 2013. He works in the civil litigation practice. As an experienced Supreme Court lawyer, Gertjan handles cases across the entire breadth of private law, with an emphasis on contract law, liability law and intellectual property law. Gertjan also frequently represents clients at district courts and court of appeals. He assists private parties (companies) as well as government agencies.
Gertjan studied Dutch law at the University of Groningen. Gertjan previously worked for 11 years as an attorney at De Brauw Blackstone Westbroek. He is a member of the Association of Civil Cassation Lawyers, the Dutch Association for Procedural Law and the Association for Civil Law. Gertjan publishes regularly on civil procedural law.
