Floor van der Lecq

Floor van der Lecq has worked as an attorney-at-law in the Corporate Law department since 2021. He is part of the Litigation & Arbitration practice group and is involved in the general civil litigation and arbitration practice. Floor has experience with directors' liability, the annulment of arbitration awards and civil cross-border disputes, including class actions and cartel follow-on proceedings. He litigates on a wide variety of matters, such as diesel engine emissions, foreign exchange transactions and face masks. Furthermore, he acted as secretary in an arbitral proceedings before the Netherlands Arbitration Institute. Floor acts on behalf of both (semi) public authorities and private clients.

Floor completed his master's degree in corporate law and private law (cum laude) at Utrecht University. During his studies he gained experience in the legal profession and in the judiciary. After his studies, Floor worked as a lecturer in private law, also at Utrecht University. He is editor of the Ars Aequi KwartaalSignaal media law and member of the Dutch Corporate Litigation Association and the Dutch Association for Young Litigators.
