Cleo Scholte has been a lawyer since 2014. She works in the litigation practice. Her focus includes mass claim cases and complex cross-border disputes. Cleo has extensive experience with advising and litigating on a variety of issues, including international interest rate benchmarks, trucks and the foreign exchange market. Earlier in her career, she also worked in the corporate practice, where she gained experience in finance transactions and restructurings.
Cleo completed both her Dutch Law study and her Economics and Business study at the Erasmus University Rotterdam, both cum laude. Before joining Pels Rijcken, she worked as a lawyer at De Brauw Blackstone Westbroek for 10 years.
Cleo is a member of the Dutch Association for Procedural Law and the Association for Civil Law.
