Berend-Bram Heinen joined Pels Rijcken in 2018. As a lawyer in the Supreme Court Law section and the Employment Law section, he runs a broad practice for companies and public authorities. His focus is on all aspects of employment law and procedural law. Due to his analytical background, Berend-Bram has a special interest in complex matters. Berend-Bram successfully completed the Postacademische Leergang Arbeidsrecht (PALA), a postgraduate course in employment law. He regularly publishes in professional journals and on Cassatieblog, the weblog about civil cassation case law in the Netherlands, and on Arbeids- en Ambtenarenblog, a weblog about employment law.
Berend-Bram first studied Industrial Engineering at the Eindhoven University of Technology. He then graduated cum laude from the Free University of Amsterdam with a master’s degree in Private Law. During his studies, Berend-Bram chaired the Amsterdam Student Association for Employment Law (ASAR) and he worked as an external court clerk at the District Court of Central Netherlands and as a working student at Pels Rijcken. Berend-Bram has been active as a semi-professional football player for VV IJsselmeervogels for several years.
