Victoria Wiertz specializes in corporate law, with a focus on mergers and acquisitions, corporate governance and private equity. Victoria advises public and private parties on national and cross-border M&A transactions, joint ventures, privatizations, restructurings and general corporate law issues. Victoria also advises the Dutch government on state-owned enterprises.
Victoria joined Pels Rijcken in 2023. Prior to that, she worked as a corporate lawyer in Amsterdam and New York and as a senior legal counsel at a bank. Victoria holds a master's degree in Private Law from the University of Amsterdam and a master's degree in Finance and Law from Duisenberg School of Finance. She completed a postgraduate program on mergers and acquisitions at the Grotius Academy. In her free time, Victoria is a modern and contemporary art enthusiast.
