Simon van Doren has worked as a senior lawyer in the Real Estate section since 2026. Simon is a driven, practical and solution-oriented lawyer with a keen political instinct. He works for both public and private clients, such as various local authorities, property developers and institutional (international) investors.
Simon completed his law degree in Groningen in 2016. In 2015, he spent a semester studying at Koç University in Istanbul. After completing his law degree, Simon went on to study comparative and international politics at the University of Leuven. Upon finishing his studies, Simon began working in the legal profession, specialising in civil property law and planning and development law. In 2022, Simon completed the Grotius specialisation course in environmental law with distinction.
