Niels Demper has been an attorney-at-law at Pels Rijcken since 2026. He works in the Civil (Litigation) Law Section, providing advice and handling litigation across the full spectrum of civil (procedural) law.
Niels studied Civil Law at Leiden University (cum laude). After completing his studies, he worked as a lecturer and researcher at Leiden University. He is currently writing a doctoral thesis at this university on the review of discretionary government actions by the civil and administrative courts in the light of the prohibition of unreasonableness and the principle of proportionality.
Niels is a visiting researcher at Leiden University.
