Maaike Feenstra has been a lawyer with Pels Rijcken since 2020. Within the Administrative Law department, she handles diverse cases in the area of (general) administrative law. In doing so, she assists both the State and various supervisory bodies and local and regional authorities. Supervision and enforcement are topics of particular attention for her.
Maaike studied Dutch law at the University of Groningen, where she graduated cum laude from the master’s programme in legal research and constitutional and administrative law. During her studies, Maaike worked at the university where she conducted research and published articles in the field of administrative law enforcement. She also worked for the Temporary Committee Mining Damage Groningen (TCMG) and completed an internship in the legal profession. Maaike is a member of the Dutch Administrative Law Association (VAR).
