Frank van Tienen has been working as a lawyer at Pels Rijcken since 2016. He litigates on behalf of and gives advice to Ministries, local governments and regulators. Frank's primary focus is economic administrative law. Within his general administrative practice, the emphasis is on cases where the political-administrative context features strongly. Aspects of constitutional law, government transparency and intergovernmental relations are often central to these cases.
Frank studied both Dutch Law and Economics at Erasmus University Rotterdam. He also studied for a semester in Spain at Universidad Carlos III in Madrid. He graduated cum laude with a Master's degree in Constitutional and Administrative Law.
