Ella Pijnacker Hordijk has been working as an attorney at Pels Rijcken since 2026. She advises on and litigates in both private and administrative law matters relating to environmental law and environmental liability.
Ella completed her bachelor’s degree at Utrecht Law College, the honours programme at Utrecht University. During this time, she spent a semester studying at the University of Edinburgh in Scotland. She then went on to complete a master’s degree in Constitutional and Administrative Law at Utrecht University, graduating with distinction. After completing her studies, Ella gained experience as a student intern at Pels Rijcken.
