Brechtje Boerboom has worked as a lawyer in Pels Rijcken’s Administrative Law department since 2020. Her main focus is on open government. Brechtje is has a broad range of interests and has an eye for the social context in which many administrative and constitutional issues play out.
Brechtje obtained her bachelor’s of law degree at Utrecht Law College (honours programme). She followed part of her bachelor’s programme at the University of Cambridge. Brechtje completed her master’s in Constitutional and Administrative Law at Utrecht University. During her studies, she worked as a student employee at various law and notarial firms. In addition, she was, among other things, president of a student association for a year.
