Marlies Koppenol has practised law in the Administrative Law department since 2019. Marlies specialises in general administrative (procedural) law and has experience in European law, competition law and economic regulations. This means her expertise extends to a wide range of administrative law issues, such as administrative penalties, regulatory and enforcement powers of administrative bodies and compensation for loss resulting from administrative acts. As a member of the Administrative Law team, Marlies focuses on general administrative law and oversight and enforcement.
Marlies obtained her master's degree in European Competition Law and Regulation from the University of Amsterdam and was admitted to the Dutch Bar in 2016.
