Jelmer Procee, attorney-at-law and partner in the Environmental Law department and specialised in aviation law and administrative compensation law, including compensation for loss, land exploitation and expropriation. He will combine his role as director with his law practice in the next four years. He has been with Pels Rijcken since 2007 and will strengthen the board with his extensive practical experience and knowledge.
Jelmer Procee: “After twenty years at Pels Rijcken, it is an honour for me to contribute to the further development of our firm as a board member from 2027. Although I have seen Pels Rijcken grow and change in those years, our excellent service and commitment have remained unchanged. I look forward to working with Sandra and Olivier to build on the future of our firm.”
Olivier de Bruijne brings extensive administrative experience from the Central Government. His background includes strategy, organisational development, business operations and legal advice. He is currently the programme director for the official summit of the Ministry of Economic Affairs and Climate Policy (EZK). Prior to that, his duties included Managing Director and Director of Administrative and Legal Affairs & Claims Handling of the Groningen Mining Damage Institute (IMG), where he was jointly responsible for the structure and development of the organisation and claims handling in Groningen. He previously held various managerial and legal positions within the Central Government.
Olivier de Bruijne: “I look forward to assuming responsibility for the management of Pels Rijcken together with Sandra and Jelmer starting in January.
