Joëla Schaeffer has been working in the Spatial Planning and Environment Department since 2022. She gives advice and litigates in wide-ranging cases concerning damages under administrative law (planning blight and compensation for loss). She also specialises in land acquisition (expropriation).
Joëla obtained her master’s degrees in Constitutional and Administrative Law and in Legal Theory and Socio-Legal Studies at Erasmus University Rotterdam. During her studies Joëla gained experience at various law firms.
