Hèlen Haaijer has worked as an attorney in the Innovation, Privacy and Technology section since 2022 and specializes in technology and information law. She advises and litigates on civil law aspects of technology and innovation, such as ICT contracts, intellectual property law and media law. Within these areas of law, she acts for (large) corporations, government agencies and non-profit organizations.
Hèlen completed the Master's degree in Private Law and Internet, Intellectual Property and ICT at VU University Amsterdam and also took several extracurricular private law courses such as private international law and litigation.
During her studies, Helen gained experience as a student assistant and intern at several law firms and as a volunteer at the rechtswinkel.
