Marieke de Vries has been appointed counsel from 1 January 2024. Marieke joined Pels Rijcken in 2008 and specialises in construction and procurement law. She frequently advises on complex and other procurement law issues of a very diverse nature. She also assists contracting authorities in setting up procurement procedures, including in the social domain, and clients in construction projects and area development projects. Marieke regularly conducts legal proceedings, both in civil courts and in arbitration. Furthermore, she is often involved in drafting contracts, including English-language contracts, among others in an extensive shipbuilding practice.
