Why Pels4Good Fund?
Individuals or smaller entrepreneurs may find it difficult to determine their legal position and/or take legal action for many reasons, despite the fact that the existing legal system allows them to do so. This may be because they do not have sufficient access to objectively reliable information about their legal position, because they do not experience sufficient capacity to act, lack access to advice and/or support, lack financial resources, time or energy, experience feelings of discomfort, fear or shame, or lack confidence in the existing legal system. This may be experienced or addressed differently by specific groups, such as young people or less self-reliant or otherwise vulnerable individuals.
The Pels4Good Fund wants to promote projects or activity that improve access to justice (in a broad sense), regardless of origin, position or legal question.

Pels4Good for The Hague
You can apply for the financial contribution from the Pels4Good Fund if:
- you or your company is based in The Hague or
- if you are not based in The Hague, but are carrying out or intend to carry out a project or activity that promotes access to justice in The Hague.

Jury
An expert jury evaluates the projects proposed by the tenderers the financial contribution from the Pels4Good Fund is a financial contribution of €20,000, but there is the possibility that, in case of equal eligibility, two winners will be designated, each receiving €10,000.
The financial contribution from the Pels4Good Fund will be awarded at ImpactFest on 7 November 2023 at the Fokker Terminal in The Hague.
